THE DESIGN PROCESS: Concept to Completion

AFTER

I. Initial Consultation

During this meeting, we get to know our clients and their lifestyle. We’ll also measure, talk about colors, and share a few initial ideas. Various levels of service are available depending on the clients’ wishes. We will discuss your wishes in our initial meetings and coordinate schedules with contractors and vendors to best fit your desires.

II. First Design Meeting: Initial Design Plan

We paint fabric swatches, initial furniture offerings, finishes, and paint color options to our clients’ homes for collaboration on the design. Once these decisions are made, design time is spent on creating a rendering of the full design to be approved at the next Design Meeting.

III. Second Design Meeting: Finalization of Design Plan

We come with full renderings of the design along with actual smaller pieces that will go in the room such as rugs, pillows, or art to better visualize the concept. Any minor changes are made and approved by our clients before ordering.

IV. Procurement of Materials and Improvements

Once the Design Concept has been finalized, the ordering process begins. While waiting for the furnishings to arrive, improvements are made to the space where the furnishings will be installed. This phase can last anywhere between 6-12 weeks.

All elements at this time are completely installed, placed, and ready for pictures. The final result is a room perfectly designed for your lifestyle.
